what are the must have plugins for your WordPress website?

We all know that WordPress is an open-source website-building platform. There are tons of plugins within the platform to use to help you create a stunning-looking website from scratch. From website builders to anti-hacking security plugins. WordPress has it all. Some of these plugins offer premium features but many of them are free to use.

As a newbie or new business owner that prefers not to make use of a website designer, all these plugins could be confusing at first.

In this article, I will be discussing the ‘Must have’ plugins that you should consider using on your WordPress website. These plugins come great in handy and offer a lot of value, even on the free plans.

6 must-have plugins for WordPress Website

Elementor

For all the experienced WordPress web designers out there, this plugin would come on this list as expected. Elementor offers a drag and drop builder with a wide variety of elements.

From sliders to tabs to text boxes to buttons. Elementor has it all. Even with the free package, Elementor offers a lot of value. There are a lot of third-party companies that offer even more functionality if you would like even more options to work with.

WP Rocket

As WordPress is a website builder, it requires some back-end code to run on the site. Some of these codes are sometimes not needed and do absolutely nothing but slow down the site. This of course leads to longer loading time and bigger website files.

With the help of WP Rocket, you can cache your site and speed it up in all the ways possible. WP Rocket is one of the most powerful caching plugins on WordPress. Use it to improve the speed of your site, SEO rankings, and conversions.

WP Rocket is a paid plugin. From my experience, I think purchasing WP Rocket is worth every penny.

Of course, there are some alternatives for WP Rocket that are free to use, but none of them offer as much value as WP Rocket, but still is worth checking out and making use of.

Free alternatives:

  • W3 Total Cache
  • WP Super Cache
  • WP Fastest Cache
